Main column look-alike, with changes tracked, to WORD Export. Approach?

I need to be able to use the standard Office/WORD export, however, the "Main Column" should contain the text that is red-lined against a previous version. It should NOT contain the text of the current version. Simply spoken, we want to completely emulate WORD with changes trackes in the DOORS output.

I know how to use the standard DXL script to generate a DXL attribute with red-lined change history.Just how do I get it into the standard WORD output....

Thanks for considering.

I don't think this is exactly what you want. But to show changes between the baseline and the current version we modified the WORD export to have a third selection called Compare. This option exports the baseline and the current version to Word and then execute a Word macro to compare the two documents.

If you were wanted to stay from doing a lot of coding you could always to the exports manually from the baseline and the current versions and then use Word to compare them. But this might not be the best approach.

Some one else might have a easier solution.

I had a similar problem and found this on the other site: http://www.smartdxl.com/layout.html

Then, to redline the differences, I suggest using diff() and displayRichWithColor ()

Good luck...
